My paintings contain curved lines and rounded shapes, organic in nature and reflective of natural phenomena. These have sometimes been influenced by patterns and forms I'm exposed to while working at a natural history museum: bones, sediments, and fossilized plants and invertebrates. I work these organic elements into compositions which are sometimes spontaneous and sometimes visualized beforehand. Through repetition and interaction, the individual parts often form an emergent pattern.
