Framed by geologic time, the images in an ongoing abstract, self-portrait series by Kathleen Gerdon Archer are divided into 6 sections; the Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous and Permian. The photographs in her Members' Gallery exhibition belong to the Carboniferous, the second to last period of the era, when temperatures grew milder, and reptiles evolved.
