Picture This ……

Much like the ephemeral instant of snapping a photo, our weather is constantly changing. Using processed film remnants and the physical materials of analog photography, my work evokes wonder at our natural world while provoking concern for its health. Nature's magical calming patterns of flight and flow, the sky, and seasonal pleasures are juxtaposed with works targeting the physical destruction and consequential social turmoil caused by climate change. Viewers are invited to consider images based on their own memories and experiences of earth's great beauty while contemplating its rapid and continuing decline.
